Spelling Homework

This week I had 20 words on my spelling list. Here are 10 sentences that I had to write for homework:

Are you ready to talk to me or are you still mad?
Here is your lesson I want you to do it.
Here comes the bridal!
Take the dog to the fishery.
All she does is wail all night.
Finding my homework is not my interest.
My favorite color is indigo.
We have a hickory in our back yard!
Can you hand me that vise over in my toolbox.
Do not mess with that metal it will hurt you.

My mom said I need to work on using commas and using words in the right meaning.

My New Phone

For Christmas, I got a cell phone. Before I could use my phone, my mom had to set some rules so that I know what I can do with the phone and what I cannot do. My phone is a Tracfone.™ This that means that I have to buy minutes for my phone. Each month I have to give my mom some money so she can buy the minutes. Here are the rules:

First rule is: Mommy keeps the phone with her.
Second rule is: I may answer calls from my family only.
Third rule is: I may call my immediate family only.
Fourth rule is: I will be contributing $5 every month to buy minutes.


I think my rules are fair because it is my first time having a phone and I need to start with rules so I will not mess up. My mom wants me to use my phone only for when I go shopping and for calling my family so that I will not use up all my minutes. I am going to follow my rules because it is the right thing to do so that I will not get in trouble. I like my phone.

Christmas

*Christmas is Jesus’ birthday.
*On Christmas, we should give a gift to Jesus.
*Christmas is a holiday to spend time with your family.
*You should thank God for Christmas and for his Son.
*I got many good presents for Christmas; the best Christmas gift I got this year was my cell phone.



New Years

*On New Years, you should think about what you are going to change.
*You should put all the bad things behind you.
*You should thank God for a New Year and another chance.
*You should have fun with your family and celebrate.
*We made a snack tray with cheese, pepperoni, olives, and crackers.



Back to School
*It was hard coming back to school because we stayed up late and slept in during Christmas break.
*When you go back to school, you should try to have a good attitude.
*Sometimes praying before lessons helps.
*You should never give up on your schoolwork.
*I cannot wait until spring break.
